January 8, 2010Maiuko won £100 prize for the favourite tree.
Mrs A Williams won 2 vouchers to a show at the Quarterhouse.
I would like to thank Cheryl Papasian for all her help and all the artists who took part for making it such a great success. The diverse selection of recycled trees was inspiring to all those who saw them. Thank you Lucy Gradidge for your support. Also thanks must go to the Creative Foundation for providing the prizes and venue that made it all possible.
Presentation of Prizes and Collection of Recycled Trees
January 1, 2010We invite all artists that made Recycled Trees to JGs at 3pm on Tuesday 5th Jan.
£100 prize will be presented to the artist who made the tree that was voted the favourite by the public.
Also 2 tickets for a show at the Quarterhouse will be given to the winner of the draw of those who voted.
Hopefully the Press will be there to take some photos.

December 18, 2009Please remember to vote for the recycled tree you like best at JGs. Voting boxes can be found in the Creative Quarter Folkestone at the Visiter Centre on the Old High Street, Home Ground, Googies, The Cube, Chimera Gallery, The Quarterhouse and Andy’s Fish ‘n’ Chips.

Monday 7th Dec 12 noon – 2pm or Thursday 10th Dec 2pm – 4pm
Voting will take place on Dec 10th during the Creative Quarter Open Evening.
To Artists making Trees
November 25, 2009If your Tree is finished please deliver it to (J.G.s Amusements)
3- 9 Tontine St. Folkestone, Kent. CT20 1JT.
Friday 27th Nov 4.30pm to 6.30pm or
Saturday 28th Nov 10.00am to midday
This will be in time for the Lights Switch On.
However if your tree is not finished yet it is fine do not worry.
We will arrange more delivery days nearer to the deadline of 10th Dec.
This will be in time for Late Night Shopping in the Creative Quarter.

Made from recycled materials
They must be between 4ft and 8ft in height, free standing and light weight.
Use your imagination!
Together they will create a forest of artist made trees in
(J.G.s Amusements) 3-9 Tontine Street
£100 prize for the Winner
and
2 tickets for a show at the Quarterhouse
for the draw of people who vote
Book Festival 6th -14th November
October 26, 2009Sunday Nov 8th
Lino Printing by ‘White Shed’ Artists.
Passers-by will be able to see work in progress.
These prints will be made into a book and put on display during the Book Festival in Folkestone.
